Founder and CEO
Markus was born in Germany and educated in Australia, but his career began in Japan where he spent a decade developing HR strategies and L&D programs for global firms operating there.
Markus moved to Thailand in 2010 and founded RLC in 2015, where he now leads his international team in providing custom HR solutions for companies expanding into Thailand
Markus established RLC as the next evolution in meeting his clients’ HR needs. He added visa/work permit services for firms bringing expat talent into Thailand, and expanded RLC’s recruiting, onboarding, and payroll services into a full Employer of Record (EOR) option. The EOR service allows companies to completely outsource their Thai workforce compliance and administration tasks, accelerating their entry into Thailand and freeing resources to focus on strategy, growth, and team building.
Markus very much enjoys a hands-on approach to working with RLC clients, learning about their business processes, challenges, and goals. He guides the RLC team to tailor unique HR solutions by drawing upon his extensive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, and Leadership Development for large and small firms across Asia.
Markus lives in central Bangkok with his young family and enjoys frequent trips back home to the Gold Coast of Australia.

Surachet, or “Oh” as he’s better known, oversees the execution of RLC’s outsourced HR solutions, ensuring efficiency and compliance while maintaining the team’s client-centric approach.
With a background in Industrial Design from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT ) and the University of Central England (UCE), Oh brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic problem solving to RLC’s operational landscape.
Since joining in 2021, he has played a key role in streamlining RLC’s processes, enhancing service delivery, and driving operational excellence. His leadership focuses on optimizing workflows, integrating automation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Beyond operations, Oh is passionate about innovation, problem-solving, and delivering impactful solutions that elevate both employee and client experiences.
